
Liverpool have confirmed that Fabio Borini will be out for around three months after fracturing his foot. The striker, 21, sustained an injury during their clash Manchester United at Anfield but aggravated it, causing a break, while on international duty with Italy’s Under-21s. After being assessed by their medical team, the Reds have decided that surgery will be needed on the foot.
