Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has emphatically denied suggestions Pepe Reina will leave Anfield at the end of the season. Reina has been heavily linked with a return to former club Barcelona, who are planning for the departure of Victor Valdes. There were suggestions earlier this season that Rodgers was looking to sell Reina, who has struggled to find his best form at times, but the Reds boss is adamant the Spaniard will see out the remainder of his contract at Anfield.

Liverpool and Tottenham have missed out on the chance to sign Ajax defender Toby Alderweireld, with Roma ready to clinch a deal.
